Answer #1

Q.1. Answer- False

Explanation-

PCR is the polymerase chain reaction that mimics a cellular DNA replication process where parent DNA is replicated into two daughter DNA molecules . As in cellular process, after one round of replication two daughter DNA are synthesized , in the same way in PCR after each round of replication number of target sequence will be doubled. During PCR, each strand of DNA act as template for synthesis so that one double standard DNA will be replicated to give two double stranded daughter DNA molecules. At each PCR cycle, DNA is replicated and at the end of each cycle number of target sequence will be doubled not tripled.

Q.2. Answer- True

Explanation- This statement is true because in PCR reaction mixture so many chemicals has to be added in very accurate amount with accuracy. So that when researchers set up many PCR at a time, addition of these chemicals will take so much time and chances of errors of addition may occur. So that researchers uses PCR master mix in which common components like DNA polymerase, buffer, dNTPs and MgCl2 are present and only target DNA and specific primers should be added at the time of PCR. Due to master mix researchers can set reaction within short time with accuracy.

Tens Tips for changing health behaviors After years of working with health science students to help older adults change health behaviors, it would be wonderful if I could offer the reader a simple formula for increasing the probability of success. Unfor- tunately, I fall victim to the “kitchen sink” syndrome that I think also afflicts the PRECEDE model just described. There are many factors that can influence the success or failure of an individual’s attempt to change a health behavior,...
