"Technology may make its employees more dependent on it instead of making self-efforts." Do you mean that technology may stifle creativity, thinking outside the box, etc.. What would be an example of this issue? I think one avenue you could take is that technology could make team members dependent on certain communication methods versus others that may take more effort! Just thinking out loud, I am anxious to hear what you think!

Technology has brought many benefits to working with getting processes and procedures more easy and efficient. It has helped in getting easy access to people, information and knowledge with just a click. But with people getting more used to its easy accessibility it has refrained them from using their creative minds and make an effort to bring something more original and valuable. For example, in reports, presentations or any such creative work asked from employees they simply browse the data and information from the internet and either simply copy it or mould it in their own words. They do not make an effort to make surveys themselves or analyse the topic, research about it, give it their own thoughts and think of something that can be unique. This has become a common culture and employees do not find it wrong to take shortcuts to get their tasks done even if it doesn't contain quality and uniqueness.
