What are the different levels of market segmentation

Different levels of marketing segments include Masses, Niches, Segments and Localized/Individuals.

Synthesize the segmentation strategies that manufacturers of personal computers should implement to attract both the Gen Y and baby boomer generation to increase their purchases of computers

With the rapid advancing technology for the past two decades, it would be better to sway towards the mass maekerting for the segmentation strategies for the companies of co Computers (Pride & Ferrell, 2016). They need to keep in mind that various features which Gen Y would be interested more with them like nice graphics, hard drive space and beats for speakers. Baby boomer generation will be in need of something which will be easier to navigate and abe carried from one place to another.

Are there some examples of companies that have already done a good job of marketing across generations?

Yes. For instance the cell phone companies such as Verizon, AT , Spirits etc have done a great job when it comes to marketing across generations. People of all ages are now carrying cell phones.
