Your supplier and you are working on a solution to reduce total supply chain costs. You found that the PPC (Planned Percent Complete) and PCR (Percent Constraint Removed), of the contractor in charge of structure work are 60% and 43% respectively for the last three months. How do you think such PPC and PCR make an impact on the curtain-wall supply chain costs?

PPC is Planned Percent Complete. The PPC of the current project is 60% in 3 months. This means the project is being implemented at a decent pace. Every project has certain constraints, which may act as roadblock to its execution. PCR is percent constraint removed. With time, the project implementation also tries to remove the constraints which may be hampering its performance. The PCR of current project is 43%. The project needs to have more interventions to remove the constraints as this may be affecting the performance of the project. A PCR of 43% will increase more supply costs as more interventions will be required to remove the constraints. A PPC of 60% is quite nominal and will lead to decrease the supply cost in the long run.
