Answer #1

The most important thesis is the loyalty of the African American slaves as brought through the example of Grandison. Although he was kidnapped to Canada by Dick, his owner’s son, Grandison returns back. The second thesis is the intelligence of African American which is brought out when Grandison escapes to Canada although he returned from Canada. It was also because of his family connection as it seems that he came back from Canada just to take his family with him.
