total number of games (n) = 4

we have to find probability of winning exactly 3 games

using binomial formula

P(X=3)= C(n,r)*p^r*(1-p)^{n-r}

= C(4,3)*(0.5^3)*(1-0.5)^{4-3}

= [4!/((4-3)!*3!)]*0.125 * 0.5^1

= 0.25
