1. Project scope management is basically the set of processes that ensures the accuracy and mapping of the project scope. It enables project manager and supervisor to allocate right amount of work necessary to successfully complete a project.
Good project scope management so important for IT projects because properly define the projects' need, and establish the time line, resources and goal of the project, it properly understands the objectives of the project and its importance like creating new service within the organisation, developing new piece of software etc, and it properly define the work that goes into the creation of the project.
2. For the collection of requirements for the projects, some methods are being used like face to face meetings, organising workshop, collecting data via phone, use of focus group, collaborate online properly. It also involves experts judgements, data analysis, data gathering by survey and feedback, interviews, questionnaires etc, data representation, context diagram and such more things.
It is often difficult to do so because sometimes requirements changes during the course of the project hence it may take some time for the requirements, sometimes unreasonable timeline is taken by the company for the collection of requirements which can be impossible to achieve, data manipulation can be done some others in order to beat the competition, provision of wrong information, sometimes communication gaps exists, sometimes the development team does not understand the politics of customer's organization and there were many such events which may cause some sort of problems or difficulty in collecting requirements.
3. Scheduling of project is one of the major challenge for the project manager, scheduling activities of the project is responsible for its completion on time, if any of the issue occur during the whole process then overall project get effected.
Schedule issues often causes the conflicts on project because it involves allocation of man power at different stages, resources allocation, data analysis etc. Some employees are comfortable with their work and position but some employees were not satisfied hence they create fispite, resource allocation may be not acceptable by some authority hence misconceptions and misleading may occurs and there many more such causes that creat conflict on project.
