Frankl says that " no matter what the circumstances we find ourselves, we always retain the last of human freedoms - the ability to choose one's attitude in a given set of circumstances. Do you agree or disagree with Frankl's premise that the search for meaning is human's primary psychological motivation?

INTRODUCTION :- Frankl was existential psychologist who wrote one of the prominent book "Man's Search For Meaning"in which he speaks that the ultimate way to survive anything is to find the meaning of life.In other words Frankl says,if a person finds the meaning of his life,that is the reason behind his existence,then he can survive any situation in life focusing on his goal. Frankl even says,"no matter what the circumstances we find ourselves,we always retain the last human freedom-the ability to choose one's attitude in a given set of circumstances.Through this,Frankl says it hardly matters in which condition we are in,if we are aware of the goals and meaning of our life,and as a result we will be able to deal any kind circumstances which approach us.

FRANKL'S PREMISE THAT THE SEARCH FOR MEANING IS HUMAN'S PRIMARY PSYCHOLOGICAL MOTIVATION

I do agree with Frankl's premise that the search for meaning is human's primary psychological motivation.This is so because if the person live without any meaning in life,and keeps on doing his work aimlessly,then basically he is wasting his life uselessly.It should be the primary psychological motivation in every individual,that he should find out the meaning of his,that is why he is provided this life,or what purpose he holds here in this life.It is one of the biggest motivation,as once human finds the meaning of his life,then no any circumstances or situation can stop him from fulfilling his purpose.Apart from this also act as psychological motivation as it helps the individual to deal every situation of his life more appropriately because he will be well aware of his role in his life,and nothing can create an obstacle in serving his aims.
