Let’s choose Southwest Airlines

The screenshot of their website is shown below. They have mentioned the vision and values of their company in the investor relation section of the website.

The company vision is “To become the world’s most loved, most flown, and most profitable airline”

The company values are “Live the southwest way” and “Work the southwest way”. These includes several sub point on how to live and work the southwest way.

The company mentions about training very briefly on their main website but their reporting website called One Report does mention about training development of the employees. In fact they have declared their training hours for various categories of employees.

This shows that the airline takes training extremely seriously. This is also considering that they are in aviation industry and proper training is required on a regular basis for the organizations to make sure that consumers are safe and supported.

In addition to training, Southwest also runs Southwest Airlines University where they educate their employees and prepare them for better roles within the organization.
