Polarization is the thinking and believing of negative views by the supporters of one party towards the belief of the other party members. This thinking philosophy has considerable risen in the USA in the recent years. American families have started shifting in those areas where the other inhabitants match their political views and have similar political understanding and realization. This is leading to the homogeneous views and thinking about the welfare of their family members in a similar environment with a similar thinking and views about the political governance and agendas. Therefore, the family policies are getting threatened by the acts of polarization due to the movement and migration of communities have similar political beliefs and views about their society and the political ruling. There has been a trend to form in-groups among members belonging to the same community to proliferate ideological similar thinking. Polarization is based on differences in the society where people start using words like"us" and "them" to depict a number of perspectives and issues. There are chances of conflicts among the different group members belonging to the different communities. There are chances of debates and arguments due to income stratification and the layering of different social classes leading to the occurrence of the different issues. There is a formation of different political groups that can lead to deadlock and obstructions in the formation of the ruling parties as people start voting members according to their perspectives leading to the absence of majority in the parliament. Therefore, less polarization is required for the development and growth of the different families. There are several harmful effects of polarization like formation of deadlock among the views of the different political parties, creates debate in the political discussions, creates social and cultural inequality in the society, There is lack of trust and lack of confidence in the public to believe in the views and norms.
