Answer: The family assessment differ from an individual assessment as family is consist of the members. Each member may or may not have the same disease or the illness. To assessing family is little difficult as assessing individual. It is important to provide proper education and knowledge regarding healthcare to each family members.

It is critical to understand for the family and nurse as what is the major health issues for the family because there are different people and they have their own sign and symptoms. So, it becomes difficult to know about the particular reason for the illness or disease as well as encouraging family members to indulge themselves in proper lifestyle.
