- Given the nature of the groups they serve, community and individual health interventions may overlap in their exposure to certain individuals.

- Assessment is the process of gathering and discussing information from multiple and diverse sources in order to develop a deep understanding the needs to understand their knowledge to improve their health.

- Key health promotion actions that were part of these strategies included policy development, legislation, taxation, increasing access to food, increasing opportunities for physical activity, health education, health communications, lifestyle and skill-building.
