Answer #1

We have 1 L of 0.23 M HClO solution.

So, mol of HClO present is 0.23 mol.

We can make acidic buffer by adding conjugate base, KClO.

So,0.24 mol KClO is correct.

We can also convert some of HClO to KClO by adding strong base.

So, 0.116 mol of KOH is also correct

Answer:

0.24 mol KClO

0.116 mol KOH
