Job analysis Reliability ensures that the employee who is posted to a designation or works on a post, must be analysed with similar results showing same duties and responsibilities in same situations, Even if the analysis is done by multiple members. Validity of job analysis ensures the each duties of the jobs are accurate and tests whether the particular job duties reflects the actual work.

2) compensation professional can ensure that the job analysis is reliable and valid by comparison of the analysis results with the actual work. For this various methods can be used and multiple data collection sources need to be considered for assessing the accuracy of the job analysis so that insufficient or over pay rates are avoided.
