a) The presence of conflict in the workplace can be reduced by sharing the behavioral guidelines and standard operating procedures among the employees so that with clarity in thought and action everyone perform as per their job description & priorities. There should be no discrimination on the basis of race, gender, religion, caste, and everyone is treated equally.

b) I handle conflict at the workplace by mediating between two parties or going directly to the person and clarify the gaps and misunderstandings. This pacifies the other person and harmonizes the workplace. For example, my colleague used my email id for communications without my knowledge which was against the code of conduct and ethics. I shared about the gravity of the offense and it was amicably resolved.

It is learning that the differences due to certain issues can be sorted by being calm and poise.B y sharing the concerns and understanding the circumstances and being empathetic, conflicts can be minimized.
