Favourite sandwich is Tramezzino.

Its a traditional italian triangular bread sandwich with fillings if tuna ,salmon, chicken or turkey .

Ingredients are

Thin sliced tomato .

2 peices of smoked chicken breasts .

4 slices of white bread with edges removed.

Lettuce leaves 2-3 in number.

Half slice of an apple

2 oz yogurt

One tablespoon curry powder

Scallions and thinly sliced onion bulbs

Extra virgin olive oil

2 slices of cheese

Recipe .

Thin slice thw tomato into rounds, chop the chicken into small pieces and grate the slice of Apple on a grater .

Heat over 2 table spoons of olive oil on medium flame and add the chopped scallions and onion bulbs into the oil . Stir for a minute .

Now add the grated apple with the curry powder and stir for a minute ,add 2 oz of greek yogurt into the pan and mix well.

Add salt to taste , remove the yogurt mixture from the pan and cool it and spread it over the trimmed bread slices .

Place a lettuce leaf , a thin slice of tomato cut into a circle and the sliced peices of chicken breast and a slice of white cheese .

Cover with th the other bread ,a cut the dandwich into small triangles and toast the sandwich in butter for a minute on low flame

Favourite accompaniment is a side of potato chips seasoned with salt.

Ingredients:

  • 8 slices of bacon

  • 4 slices of bread (white or wheat)

  • 4-6 leaves of lettuce (romaine or iceberg)

  • 1 large tomato, sliced

  • Mayo

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F. Place the bacon on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 15-20 minutes or until crispy.

  2. Toast the bread slices to your desired level of crispiness.

  3. Spread a generous layer of mayo on one side of each slice of bread.

  4. Add a layer of lettuce to one slice of bread.

  5. Top the lettuce with 2-3 slices of tomato.

  6. Add the bacon on top of the tomato slices.

  7. Sprinkle a pinch of salt and pepper over the bacon.

  8. Top the sandwich with the second slice of bread, mayo side down.

  9. Cut the sandwich in half and serve with a side of chips or fries.
