• I dont think there is any difference between men and women apart from having physical and temperamental differences.Anatomical differences exist from birth which we all know about but men and women are different in expressing their emotions.For example,aggression is something which a man expresses more intensely than a woman.Men become violent when they are aggressove while women are not too violent.Women also tend to feel guilty after their aggressive behaviour more than men.
• Gender differences are something which have been created by our society.Gender is a social construct which defines the roles of a man and a woman.We have been living in a male dominated world,wherein men are given more power over women.Men are brought up to be the head and the breadwinners of their family,whereas women are taught to be tolerant and managing the household chores and bearing children.
• In so many cultures,men are given more freedom to go outside their homes and experience life,whereas women are restricted in the house,which has lead to inferior status of women and because of this we see inequalities everywhere existing between both genders.
• We see gender discriminations in our homes,in our workplace,on social media etc.and this has all been created by our society who have confined men and women in boxes of unrealistic expectations.Because of this gender stereotypes,men feel the pressure of not being too sensitive and letting their emotions like women with the fear of being judged and going against the norm of toxic masculinity,that "men dont cry".Women face pressures of marriage,of spending late nights,working outside,being judged for dressing up in a certain way,having multiple partners etc.
• They face pressures in workplace as well.We still see less women in higher positions in companies compared to men,getting lesser pay for the same amount of work.Glass ceiling is being broken by women leaders all over the world now but still male domination is seen in a lot corporate sectors,as well as entertainment industry and even politics.
• Nightclubs having ladies nights is a good initiative to let women enjoy their life and their freedom,which they deserve as much as men.Though societal judgements about women drinking behaviour still exists,but times are changing and people are becoming normal about and letting women live the way they want.Also such nights being organized,increases sisterhood as well as keeps women safe.
