From the onset, what would you recommend Kathleen do differently the next time she is faced with a similar situation?

Human beings are born with sex (male or female)The sexuality in ones life differs from each individual .It is one of the physical trait exhibited (same physical trait in Darwinism)At this point Kathleen cannot argue or support in favour of the candidate though he was a most appropriate staff for the designation.The healthcare team always works in as a team,any type of disharmony can lead to poor patient care.On hiring this staff ,this harmony  can be interrupted in PT teamwork.

Kathleen can follow something differently from next time are as following

  • Make sure the hospital staff are aware of the rights of a LGBT community of marrying same gender.
  • Making a strong decision that they can be given equality in the opportunity
  • There should be atleast a minimum number of candidate for interview to avoid these situations by selecting from multiple staffs
  • Make sure the organization conducts training program on this and all are aware and angle to take a optimistic decision that this is different from the work a person delivers.
  • Enforce that taking decision is only by the higher official of the management and a suggestion by others cannot be considered on voluntary ground
