As a team of consultant who is looking towards getting the insights about how our company (In this case -"Walmart") manages its employers brand, we have to firstly get it clear ourselves about the type of industry where we work in & its customer clientele.

Walmart Inc. (formerly known as Wal-Mart Stores, Inc.) is an American multinational retail corporation that operates a chain of hypermarkets, discount department stores, and grocery stores. We shall describe each of these of the operational chains for your more simplified & detailed understanding.

Hypermarkets - A very large store with a wide range of goods and a large parking lot.

Discount department stores - A department store which offers its items at a lower price than many other retail stores.

Grocery stores - A grocery stores are a retail stores that sells food

In Walmart customer clientele comes from various sectors all around the world such that they have segregated their clientele based upon the different departments they have generated which fulfills the needs of specific segment peoples like the one's which are mentioned as below-

Halloween - This department is established who can serve its lower age consumer/clientele needs like children's dresses & costume.

Home savings

Electronics & office

Clothing, shoes & accessories

Home, furniture & appliances

Movies, music & books

Pharmacy, health & beauty supply.

So, in this way you might have a clear view about the industry where in Walmart involved all through the past years & its clientele base developed all along these successful years.

Walmart had launched a new careers website, careers.walmart.com And you will see a little bit of their efforts to help improve the quality of the image that employees going to see but also have a better understanding of what Walmart have to offer both from a job perspective but also from a culture perspective

Work content - It simply means the work you are going to do for the Walmart & in turn how you can contribute towards good cause of society where you live in. For Ex. for indicating work content as your employee value preposition, you could say that as a owner of the company " We make difference in the community"

Career - "Climb ladders while building bridges" We're always making sure to have our calendar jam-packed with great networking opportunities for people to find out about all of our great job possibilities. This is what an Walmart saying over its career page to make it as value indicating feature for its employees.

Benefits & Compensation - This is nothing but the incentive or commission strategy opt by Walmart where an employees can earn through online mode as well by selling its product with good commission percentage. Also, along side with it, they have standard compensation & benefits schemes for employees working on site working at different wholesale stores in all across the world.
