(a) Carl only wants to sell the best potatoes to his friends and neighbors at the farmer's market. According to weight, this means he wants to sell only those potatoes that are among the heaviest 20%. What is the minimum weight required to be brought to the farmer's market? Round your answer to 2 decimal places.

for 80th percentile critical value of z= 0.84
therefore corresponding value=mean+z*std deviation= 9.59

b)

for 5th percentile critical value of z= -1.645
therefore corresponding value=mean+z*std deviation= 6.36

( try 6.37 if above comes wrong)

c)

weights that delineate the middle 95% of Carl's potatoes from the others from 5.95 ounces to 11.05
