Digital Self vs Consumer's Self Concept

The digital self can differ from the consumer's self-concept of ideas and terminologies. Cultures are different and the innovations made in technology and the change of things with time can be greatly affected by morals and ethics. The difference is important to marketers because they are supposed to learn the tastes and preferences of customers before presenting new products and services. The understanding of the concept can help to boost sales based on the selected concept of the consumer and the relation with the digital innovations.
