Answer #1

If an assessment tool had high validity and reliability but has not been tested in diverse groups, it may be questionable that it would provide legit results. This is because, a tool must be tested on diverse groups in order to ensure that the chance of error is minimized and that a study is reliable and worth of publication. It must be tested in diverse groups as long as it is intended to be used as a standardized test in groups who are diverse.
