(a) Mode of inheritance is incomplete dominance. In Incomplete dominance the phenotype of the heterozygous genotype is distinct from and often intermediate to the phenotypes of the homozygous genotypes. In this case, silver foxes are heterozygous while white and black foxes are homozygous for white and black allele respectively.
