How can you as a manager motivate your employees to provide creative solutions to some of your organizational challenges without focusing on a pay raise or a monetary bonus? Consider an organization you know well, has this or a similar way to motivate its employees been utilized? If not, would this way to motivate have worked?

Organizational challenges are faced by many companies like when there are plenty of works to be done and the man power or the employers are not sufficient to complete those work, when an interesting or a huge profit deal has been taken by the company which can bring large capital and can change the infrastructure of the company to a great extent in a beneficial way and many other like this, it does not only involves benefits but sometimes failure or break down of a company also engaged or included in this. To deal with such circumstances employees plays most of the role. Profit and loss of a company is very well determined by its employee’s hard work, motivation to complete that work within a stipulated amount of time.

Manager is the key to take a company and its employee forward. A manager behaviour, emotion, role, attitude all plays in determining the task of the employee and maintaining his institution. When facing an organizational challenge a manger has to be motivated and have faith in his employee to deal with those challenges and be prepared for any outcome. A manger should be kind and generous to all the employees and should look after its employee like employee look onto him during hard times. Rough attitude and aggressive behaviour does not provoke any employee to work for you and during your organization challenge.

To be a good manager he should have a one to one conversation if not an occasional meeting or talk to all his people, know about them, what they think of the institution, take and make note about all the key point they thinks to take this organization forward, listen to their view point, discuss on all internal matters etc. Don’t keep any secrets to them even if a company is having loss or going down tell them and discuss with them about what next can be done to overcome this problem. If earned success enjoy and share happiness with them don’t keep them apart because if in your hard times you intend them to take closer and during your good time you keep them apart that will not make any sense and it will break down your employee motivation and they will withdraw their work from your side. Built a faith and consider them as your own family members this will keep them motivate and enlarge love for you to a large and greater extent and they will tend to provide creative solution.

This all help employee’s to keep them motivated and they will tend to work for you even if there is no pay rise and monetary bonus from the company. Employee act as a shield for a company and they can safeguard a company and manages to get a high profit only if they are overwhelmed with the love, respect and attention they are seeking from the manger. If the employee has a bonding of mental and emotional attachment with the company, they would stop thinking about the benefits and pays a great hard work in whatever organization challenge the company is going through or facing off. Make sure you share the same taste of success and failure.
