Stereotypical or negative people stereotypes can make management and leadership challenging for a supervisor

Some of the assumptions made concern, among other things, race, age, origin. One assumption that women are weaker compared to men and people from minority groups is that they are not as effective as those from the majority groups in a workforce that can make it difficult for the boss to control and direct. This is because of negligence. Nonetheless, this is incorrect because women and people of minority backgrounds are equally skilled in performance, brain power and accountability. A manager should not embrace negative assumptions and inspire the workers to be more optimistic.
