I did experiment that dropping magnet through a coil for induced emf from each different height...

I did experiment that dropping magnet through a coil for induced emf from each different height and check the induced emf is increased proportionally as drop height is higher and higher.

so I thought the two equations I need to use would be the  v = √2gh , induced emf= -NAdt/dΦ as far as I know.

Is that right? if not, could anyone explain me that?...
