a- Chapter two investigates the possibility of sustainable energy. What requirement
must be met in order for sustainable energy to be possible?
b- Investigate a sustainable energy source and discuss if it could conceivably entirely
replace fossil fuel dependency.
c- Whale oil, artificial hydrocarbons from corn, sugar cane or switch grass could be
sustainable but are not desirable in other ways. Explain
Ans.a)The main components for sustainable energy i.e ,land wind turbine, offshore wind turbine,solar-thermal and pv cell, biomass, hydroelectric, wave energy, tidal energy, geothermal, nuclear, etc, for future we have these possiblity energy source options we can used these resources for sustain of life in the world. In future aspects many of non renewable resource will be finished. So all the renewable components are met the requirements in order for sustainable energy.
b)Yes,all the renewable energy sources and sustainable energy components to met requirements of energy consumption by the consumer, these are replaced the entire fossil fuels dependency by the sustainable energy . Nowdays people are awareness of these energy sources ,applied for their requirements to save energy, save life.
c)whale oil, artificial hydrocarbon from corn sugarcane, and switch grass could be sustainable some extent but these source may come under biomass Energy, here waste materials are used as energy sources.it has used as renewable energy, but whale oil may be limited source get from earth surface, but are not desirable as regular souces in other ways
