Nurses monitored 79 infants for pain in reaction to a vitamin K injection. They assigned a score of 0 through 7 from the Neonatal Infant Pain Scale (NIPS) at 30,60, and 120 seconds after the injection,T0, T30, T60, and T120 seconds. Higher scores meant more pain (Alcock, 1993).

Deandre, a student intern, believes that NIPS scores were higher at T30 seconds than at T120 and conducts a Wilcoxon signed rank test.
