Answer #1

the transmission of ultrasonic waves through a solid material is more as compared to the air. So the answer is the more effective transmission

As we all know the ultrasonic wave cannot transmit through the Vaccum but it can travel in any medium its velocity in air is almost in the range of 340-344 m/s, its velocity in iron and aluminium is like in the range of 5000 to 6000 m/s. So we can see that the transmission through the solid medium is more effective than air medium.
