Answer #1

Answer

a) Gap junction found in the cardiac muscles which allow direct movement of depolarising current from cell to cell so that entire muscle cells across the chamber can rhythmically contract.

b) Tight Junction act as a blood-brain barrier which is prominent in the endothelial layer of brain capillary and its function is to separate blood from the brain and extracellular fluid in the central nervous system. This is an important guard which prohibit any molecule which not necessary.
