Following are the 3 reasons why it is important for people to study world religion :-

1. Study of religion make aware and understand the religion of other communities. It creates empathy and resilience from those different from us and this way we come to know what are the rituals of other religion, why other religions act the way they do.

2. It maintains a huge stability in our own truth and faith. People become motivated by the religious committment of other communities which encourage us to participate in our own confidence and faith.

3. It can improve and develop our practices. We learn many different religious and devotional acts from other religions. These are the 3 three reasons why it is important for people to study world religion.

The two things which surprised me are :-

A) Many religion have so much power to influence others that, people abandoned their own religion and adopt their religion. They are fascinated by rituals,culture and trend of other religion. However, it is democratic right to choose any religion.

B) In some religion many things are that which is not acceptable or which is unfair. Because of lack education people still believe in superstitious things and they continue to follow those Orthodox traditions and trends.
