The topics that should be covered in the introduction are date the product was released in the marketplace. The introduction should set the tone for the analytical report and should introduce the readers to facts and situations with regards to the sales of its newest product. Information with regards to date of release should be accompanied by figures related to regional breakdowns of sales across the country. These two data points will set the tone for readers and they will have a context ready for reference when proceeding with reading of the report.

In the body key fact findings should be presented. For instance sales figures of competitors will enable the readers to determine where the sales of your newest product stand in the market and what its competitive position is. Future prediction with regards to US economy (and the method of the prediction) will enable readers to get a glimpse of the future and hence determine where the sale of new product is headed. The body should also talk about the tangible and primary tasks that should be completed systematically by the year end so that the new product can be sold on a global level. This topic will help in determining the importance and weightage of each task. This, in turn, can be used to develop KSAs (key responsibility areas) and do a proper task allocation for an effective global launch.

In the close I will include concluding topics. The conclusion will include my recommendation as to whether the company should sell this product internationally. This point will based after analyzing the different aspects with regards to the sale of the new product and then determining if the new product can be sold in the international market in a sustainable basis (or not).
