In the Question, purpose of different circuits have been asked. Let's explain them one by one in brief

a) mbit cell - mbit cell is theoretically simple circuit but exceptionally difficult to design, therefore it requires an excessive amount of process technology. mbit cell is also referred as a bitline over capacitor cell.
