A U.S. reporter will report dividends received in the operating activities section of the statement of cash flows and dividends paid in the financing activities section of the statement of cash flows.

An international reporter will report dividends received in the operating or investing activities section of the statement of cash flows and dividends paid in the operating or financing activities section of the statement of cash flows.
