Wal-Mart is one of the biggest retail chain in the world that caters people on the basis of cost leadership and with its white label brands. The retail chain major has the strategy to go for the global sourcing of goods from different nations such as China to ge the products of standard quality, give a name of its own brand and sell it at a price lower than the price of the reputed brand. Here, price is lower, but quality is similar. It makes the white label brands to be popular among the consumers who are price sensitive. It does not mean that the retail chain does not showcase the branded products. Along with the branded products, other products are also placed that attract the consumers' attraction. While the company has also entered into online eCommerce space to compete with the other majors such as Amazon. At leadership, the company has leaders, following situational as well as transformational leadership style to encourage employees with best corporate practices with exceptions to what they have done in other countries like Brazil.

With reference to the above, I agree with the business practices in most of the scenarios, with exceptions to the practices adopting illegal means to promote the business. I do not agree with this part of the practices. I shop at Wal-Mart as it offers me a good quality products at lower prices and it has a unique pricing strategy that helps me get products even if it is a white label at affordable prices.  I have the opinion as mentioned, because this a  retail chain that started from smaller areas or city and moved outward to the bigger cities later on. Hence, it is evolving in nature and its every day low pricing made a super hit among the price conscious consumers. So, barring few wrong examples in foreign countries, it has worked excellent and set a right example to the workers, community and target audience.
