Answer #1

Just like the Spanish or the Germans, nationalism and very aggresive expansionism began to rise in Japan after the First World War. Japan then turned to political totalitarianism, nationalism and fascism.Fascism began in Japan and an authoritarian regime started and completely overthrew democracy in Japan. The army also started becoming an instrument of terror and radicalism.Japan then invaded Manchuria without declaring war breaching rules of the League of nations. Japan also bombed Manchuria and started to expand its colonial imperialism just like the Germans and the Spanish used to do in Europe.Japan exploited Manchuria for oil and other natural resources that it lacked. This was very much similar to Spanish and the Germans who had a very fascist regime and brutal leadership that tried to conquer the world and establism their era of brutal colonial imperialism.
