Some amount of pressure and energy at work, depends on the type of work need to be done and the situation. Pressure is more like a tactical skill which should be used to link the importance, urgency and accountability . This is important aspect for any effective manager to push his managers or team managers occasionally and it is also essential how to use this skill by them. Hence, it becomes important for mangers to understand the purpose, not to consider it as ‘personal’, should try to understand the reasons behind the demand, keep the listening skill more active, prioritize the work with the clear expectations, remain ‘problem solver’, stay positive, try to resolve difficult situations in different other ways, have a clear vision with continuous focus, clear communication, make use of positive reinforcement and celebrate successes by motivating others.
