Metal strands can be woven into textiles to make them conductive. You have some 30-mm-wide nickel textile tape with a resistance of 3.0 Ω per meter length. You cut two rectangular strips from this tape. The first strip is 30 mm by 100 mm, and the second strip is 15 mm by 120 mm. You connect the strips in series to a 1.5-V battery as shown in (Figure 1).

Determine the total power output of the two strips. Assume the resistance of the wires and the internal resistance of the battery are negligible.
