Answer #1

Women’s suffragettes movements in the beginning were very much individualistic I nature for two reasons. Firstly, it only fought for the white women’s right to vote neglecting the women of color. Secondly, it didn’t fight for the equality of everyone in the country but for the equality of white women against white men. It took long time for the women of color to come together and fight as feminist movements as it is known today because there is no difference today. Women from all walks, all cultures and all races have come together in fighting for their rights and equality and this was not the case during the 1800s.
