Cholesterol levels above 220 are considered to of moderate risk. Health officials feel cholesterol levels of male college students may be of concern because of diet or lack of exercise. To test this premise, the cholesterol levels of 13 male students in three different classes at Montgomery College were measured and found to have a mean of 229 mg/100ml and standard deviation of 46 mg/100ml.
