IN FAVOR

A Service Business is a business that comprise of people offering services to their clients and customers. These people are professionals in their work of providing services. The product here is intangible one that is the service or support they provide to their clients.

All of us have used different kinds of services that different business provides or I should rather say all business provides because all business are service businesses. Even if a business claims to be a product business, itca is somewhere a service business because they provide either after sales service or service to suggest which cateogary of their product to buy.So we basically cannot think of any business that isn't a service business. And all businesses should be a service business for many reasons such as to beat the tough competition faced by the businesses that focus only on products, should focus on increasing their services with the selling of their product to increase the customer satisfaction because everyone likes the extra support by offered to them. Being a service business , every business would be able to face and provide a competition to its competitors on all products. Not only in just facing competition but also this would help in generating additional revenues bycreating a good customer base.

Infact if we see clearly, providing services is what marketing is concerned with. And if a business doen't do marketing then they would face consequences. So almost all the businesses do marketing and thus provides services so it wouldn't be any wrong to conclude that every business is a service business.

What managers don’t always know is how much demand will change in response to a change in price. In economics, the sensitivity of demand to changing prices is called the price elasticity of demand (PED). It is computed by dividing the percentage change in demand by the percentage change in price. Although PED will be negative in most cases, indicating an...
