A linked or interconnected system of an organization is based on linking the various capital items, linking manpower with technological resources. It is important to mention that such linking increases the accountability and efficiency of the entire organization. It can be said that the information system of an organization includes maintaining connection and linking with the business partners, customers and suppliers so that ample information is available regarding the external environment within which an organization functions. Furthermore, if an example of human resources and workflow is considered then the job functions and manpower intertwined into a single unit.
