The Amazon.com is one of the largest e-tailers in the world providing the largest online shopping space to its consumers. Amazon.com has been successful in selling the products all over the world with different geographies and capturing the market share of those local countries. Amazon has said to have added value to the lives of their customers by saving their valuable time while shopping online at discounted rates than the offline vendors for the same product.

One of the issues of Amazon came into existence in India where the regulatory policies abandoned Amazon's sale of private label sellers and hence posing a strong break on the growth of Amazon in India. It also discouraged Amazon for selling products at discounted rates and selling exlusive products only on their websites. The promotional offers such as Big billion-day sale are discouraged. This challenged the supply chain of Amazon by allowing sale from only select retailers/vendors leading to a discouraged sale of private labels.
