Answer is: (A) Production planning is informal and doesn’t project very far into future.

Reason: ford is now considering the demand, market position and industry market in order to schedule its production as per the forecast. The demand of the automobile industry varies informally. Hence the planning is informal and for a short period of time.

B is not possible because the planning of an automobile plant needs heavy investment

C is not correct as manufacturing process is demand intensive

D is incorrect cause due to informal demand forecasting, ford produces limited stock
