“Some claim that every day KFC in china moves away from its U.S. roots”.

Argue and discuss the implication of this statement with regards to customer behavior. (30 marks)

KFC is a known and a famous brand all over the World. Like in many countries KFC also have its outlets in China and the staff in China are also the locals like in other countries.

Main theme of KFC is to make feel that people around that place to think that these outlet is a local one rather than other country brand. KFC sells American fast food in its outlets in all the countries along with local fast food. Main problem is arising here where KFC is serving more Chinese styled fast food than its own for appealing the local people. Most of its Chinese styled fast food include Dragon twister , chicken wrap with the local famous sauces. It is even advertising local culture which is good but it is forgetting its roots for which it is famous all over the world today.

So many people are believing that KFC is being a whole new outlet in China which is not a good sign,thus making people believe that it is moving away from US roots.
