The quality of a department cannot me measured by the mere social media presence but the efficiency of it can be definitely improves by the wise use of the social media. One such department where the social media is plating a very helpful role is the police. The police administrators are using the social media quite effectively to serve the people in an even better way.
The police is using the social media to build a trustworthy relationship and a sense of community as it helps in engaging with each other quite easily. Social media also helps the police in gaining control over the department reputation with the people and community. Police also provide a social media platform where people can open up and share such information/complaints which they wouldn’t have done in person. The social media is also being used by the police to spread word of knowledge or some piece of information very quickly and with the minimal efforts.
