Answer #1

In the scenario given here, there are 2 methods of operant conditioning which will help overcome behavior change in this 7 year old boy.

The first one is positive reinforcement where this boy shall be rewarded with a chocolate or toy for not misbehaving in class every day. Reward shall be awarded by the end of the hour or day. Next step is negative punishment if positive reinforcement fails. Here the boy shall be isolated from others as a form of punishment within classroom as to ensure that misbehaviour is not repeated.
