Display a list of all regular files in /masters that have a filename ending in .dat Save your answers to a file called vaultfiles.

ls -al /masters/*.dat | grep '^-' >> vaultfiles
**************************************************
The above command lists all files with .dat extensions in masters directory. Then it greps the file which are regular (regular file lines start with -). Then the results are saved in file vaultfiles.
