Now think back... what is your earliest memory? Given what you have learned, do you think it is accurate, or is it a reconstructed memory? If you can, verify that memory. If it was accurate, why do you think it was? If it wasn't, why do you think it wasn't?

Childhood amnesia, also called infantile amnesia, is the inability of adults to retrieve episodic memories (memories of situations or events) before the age of two to four years, as well as the period before the age of ten of which adults retain fewer memories than might otherwise be expected given the passage of time. I have really experienced it a lot many times. For instance my mother always says that as a 1 year old, i used to sit in her lap and ask her to massage my hair. I do not know when that happened and itjust appears to me as something that never really had any effect on me at all. I think if my mother is saying so, it would be accurate in all aspects no matter how much i try to run away form it.
