What do you see as challenges to federalism in the next decade? Choose an issue and outline how the states and the federal government could respond.

As federalism is the balanced division of the power between the local government i.e.state government and the central or federal government.According to me the state government need to be more dynamic in their states intrest.And the federal government should look up at only their constitutional functions.As the federal government is responsible for all the national level issues and the national security is also under the federal government,so the main challenge to the Federalism is that not all the states are following the federal laws.For example the Marijuana has been banned by the federal government but it is legal in some states.So in this way in future there might be some other states which won't agree on some other policies.In this way federalism never runs perfectly.The conservatives and the liberals never let federalism runs perfectly in the United States.
